Brief: A cantilevered bench designed to float from the wall. Matched and aligned with the parquet flooring below, the bench disappears into the floor when viewed from above. The Observatory Gallery is a cafe and photography gallery in bloomsbury. The bench was built to give viewers an opportunity to sit whilst observing the artworks opposite.
