Sustainable Development Goals Met:

In June 2019, CAUKIN Studio worked with Texere Studio, University of Hertfordshire and Studio Schubert, to design a public intervention that explored waste in construction, utilising recycled materials to design and construct a place to dwell. The bench structure promoted the collection and reuse of plastic bottles which infilled the central panel, adding to the installation over time.

The structure was part of the London Festival of architecture, a yearly festival which celebrates and promotes conversations around architecture through a series of installations and events throughout London. For more information about the LFA, click here.
